Apple’s Safari, the fastest and most energy-efficient way to surf the web, is a great way to keep up with the news and stay connected with friends. But rather than sifting through your browsing history, why not add your most frequently visited sites to your Favorites list? Read on to learn how!
Savoring Safari: Picking Your Favorites
Adding your favorite sites to Safari’s Favorites list is a snap. If the website you’d like to add is already open in Safari, simply tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen. In the window that pops up, tap the “Add to Favorites” icon. Safari will prompt you to name the website and select a location for it in your Favorites list. Tap “Save,” and you’re done.
Another option is to manually add a website to your Favorites list. To do this, tap the “Book” icon at the bottom of your Safari browser. From there, select “Favorites” from the menu. To add a website, tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner of the screen and enter the website’s address. Finally, you’ll be able to assign a name and folder for the website and select “Done.”
Tastefully Tagging Your Top Choices
Once you’ve added all your favorite websites to Safari’s Favorites list, you may want to organize them for easy access. To do this, tap the “Book” icon and select “Favorites” from the menu. Next, tap the “Edit” button in the top-right corner of the screen. You’ll be able to drag and drop sites to organize them into folders, or choose the “Rename” option to change the name of a website. To delete a website, just tap the red “-” icon next to it.
You can also assign a website an image or emoji to make it easier to find quickly. To do this, tap the “Edit” button and select a website. From there, tap the “Favorites Image” option to assign an image or emoji. Once you’ve made your selection, just hit “Done” in the top-right corner.
There you have it! You can now easily add and organize your favorite websites on Safari. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start building your list of favorites!
